Great Food and activity tracker

Works really well with the  Watch to sync activity data a and makes tracking your food throughout the day painless.

Best weight loss app I have ever used.

This app is extremely easy to use. I love the way it documents your calories and let you know how many you can have per day to reach your goal. This is my first time using it so Im waiting to see if its accurate with the date that I am to reach my desired weight. So far everything about the app is better than I thought it could be.

It is easy and effective

This app is easy to use and the act of recording my calories causes me to eat less. The net result is that I lost 26 pounds in 12 weeks and have kept it all off for three months. No more yo yo dieting for me!

I love this app!

I have lost 68.5 pounds so far, and this app is a huge reason why. I became very disillusioned last November when Weight Watchers made so many sweeping changes to their program/app and decided to make the switch to Lose It. The Lose It app plays nice with my FitBit Charge HR and makes tracking everything (food, exercise, water, etc.) so easy. I upgraded to the Premium version and have found the extra features and support very helpful. If you are looking for a well thought out app that really keeps you accountable and on-task, Lose It comes with my highest recommendation!

Shameful Ads

I have been using LoseIt since 2013 and have been happy with it. I lost 35 lbs and continued to use the app to maintain my weight. Now, I am looking for a new weight loss/management app because LoseIt has lost its integrity. First, the app will not sync across my devices. Then, a floating bar code scanner is right in the way of entering meals, serving no purpose considering a fixed bar code scanner is at the top of the page and worked just fine. The worst part though? An app update that indicated it was merely for fixing bugs, yet updated with a huge blue bar across the calorie login screen complete with advertisements and a shameful message indicating that the only way to remove that bar is to purchase the premium membership...that you would have to purchase every year! Had the developers of LoseIt made it clear in the update description that advertisements were a part of this update, then I would not have updated. As it stands now, I will never buy the premium membership, visit the ad sponsors, or recommend this app. I am also looking for a replacement to LoseIt. Too sneaky! I get that free apps sometimes have ads, but LoseIt did not (except to unobtrusively promote their premium membership) and to sneak these obtrusive ads in with an update that did not indicate such, with the only way to get rid of the ads being to shell out $40--every year-is flat out wrong.

Easy food tracker

I love this app! I knew I had to lose weight. My doctor suggested I keep a food journal. Lose It! has helped me not only set up a goal but also track my calories. Better than tracking points. With just tracking my food intake and not exercising (yet) Ive lost 27 pounds so far. I said if I got under a certain weight that I would start exercising. Ive reached that goal. Cant wait to hit more goals.

I really love this app I have it on my phone and on my iPad at home. Keeps me honest and its easy to use. One of the great motivators for me is the way it shows how at the rate Im going when Ill reach my goal weight.

Love Lose It, why ads?

I have lost 24 pounds over a year or so thanks in large part to this app. Its a great way to make me think about portions and what Im eating. Its also easy to use which is the only reason I can do it! I just got ads. Why? And why there?

I am very impressed with this app

I highly recommend this app. Using look and feel common to many iPhone apps, this program really does make it easy to log your calories, exercise, cholesterol, sodium, and other important items. As you log and watch what you eat, you see the results and why they happen. It reinforces a healthy lifestyle and teaches you the actual truth about bad foods and habits, all at once. I am a very busy lawyer, father of 2 and caregiver to an elder, and I have no time for this. Yet I was able to incorporate logging into my life using this program. I have never successfully done it before. The program crashed a couple of times but no data was lost and it popped right back up. I doubt it was this app that crashed as I have this happen from time to time anyway. If you want to be on a lifetime eating and exercise program rather than a freakish temporary diet, get this app and learn to love your iPhone. I am down 8 pounds in the first couple of weeks and looking forward to using this until I reach my desired weight.
