Love it!

Ive been strugling with weight for a long time, until I discovered this app. At first, I wasnt constant and it just stood there, installed on my phone, then I gave it a shot. The app doesnt work of you dont, but its extremely helpful Ive lost 5 pounds in one and a half week, and Im just starting :)

Love it

I had weightwatchers for years and it was too complicated this is so simple and easy to use. Not to mention the online dashboard is amazing. The tools you get with premium are awesome!

Old paradigm

This app has its uses, but hasnt kept up with new discoveries in nutrition. It uses the old paradigm of cut calories to lose weight, making the assumption that a calorie is a calorie no matter where it comes from. Newer research indicates that the culprit is highly-processed carbohydrate, particularly flour and sugar. So I use this app only to keep track of my daily weight loss, not to guide me.

Fantastic tool

I am using the app to maintain weight loss at this point and I believe it is critical. I am monitoring my weight about every other day and my food and water daily. It is super easy to find food on the built in lists and the bar code scanner is really handy. Recent updates have improved usability. I have maintained my weight loss for four months so far with the help of this app. Worth every penny!

Great accountability

GREAT app... I needed some accountability to what I ate each day as I always thought "Ill jut have one more!" Really make me think about planning what Im going to eat each day and moves me to exercise more if I really do want that cookie!

Great app

I have found this app to be helpful on more than one occasion. Logging my calorie intake has shown me time and again that I was overeating when I didnt think I was. The app has all types of food references to log which makes me feel that the calorie log is accurate. It also links up with my health app on my iPhone to track my steps and consider those exercise. (Love this part about it) I do recommend this app

If you are diligent...

One of the basics of weight loss for years has been keeping a journal. This app makes it easier and if you truly keep accurate food and exercise log it helps. Only complaint is when entering restaurant food you have to add them go back to the restaurant info to add the next food

My the most reliable way to lose weight!

This app helped not once but twice to lose 10-15 lbs in 3-4 months as a clockwork. Great tool that empowers you to lose weight by making you aware how much food you actually consume. You think you have some ball park idea about how much you ate during the day. Surprise, surprise! You have no clue! You overeat every day and you are not aware of it! This app makes it easy to become self-conscious about your daily consumption and this in itself allows you to lose weight confidently and effectively. The best tool to lose your weight - period!

Add Vivosmart HR!

I LOVE LoseIt!, but I hate not being able to sync my activity tracker. Add that capability, and this would easily earn 5 stars. (And Id most likely even pay for the premium version.)

Ruined by ads

Been using the app for years. The recent addition of ads was a bad idea. Takes up too much space and clutters up the screen.

Great health app for tracking food intake

Very easy to track food intake. Custom recipes, and ability to add past meals make it nearly effortless. One request is for data for local area restaurants with multiple locations. I would pay for this as an in app purchase.

Pretty good for me

The app works well and it is keeping me on track to my goal. The constant feedback about my intake of calories has helped me to lose 25 pounds so far. The app only works if you keep it updated and you have to be self motivated to do that. The only reason I didnt give it five stars is due to the food database discrepancies and some ambiguities. There are multiple instances of the same food with different calorie values and many foods that are measured by "serving" but no information about how a serving can be quantified such as cups, pounds, ounces, etc. in practice I just estimate the caloric content of those items and hope I am not too far off. That seem to be working so far.

Great weight loss app!

I have had Loseits premium membership for over a year, and have lost over 50 pounds in that time. Of course a lot of that is thanks to self-discipline, but the tools that the app gives you, like rigorous calorie counting and the ability to link up to a Fitbit or other device, has certainly helped a lot for my weight loss!

Addicted!!!

I love this app! It educated me about calorie intake and really showed me the value of my food. It motivates me to work out by making it so easy to log calories burned. Nothing more satisfying than seeing that negative number on the list! Youll love this app, too.

Sync problems fixed

This version (v6.6.4) appears to have fixed the sync problems of the previous version. This one of my essential apps on my mobile devices that help me maintain a healthy weight.
